Aerial property measurement
Order an automated aerial takeoff or measure it yourself. Review every layer, edit what matters, and export to Excel, PDF, or a shareable map, paid for with prepaid credits.

The problem
A traditional takeoff is a road trip: drive, walk, measure, transcribe, repeat for every property. Geolytes moves that work onto the map, where it can be repeated, checked, and shared.
Before
With Geolytes
Three ways to measure
Order the takeoff when you'd rather not draw it. Draw it yourself when you need it now. Upload a list when it's a whole portfolio. Same workspace, same outputs.
01 · Automated
Enter an address, confirm the parcel, choose the features and the imagery. You see the credit cost and an ETA before you order, and our team checks the takeoff before delivery.
See the order flow02 · Self
Open the imagery and draw polygons, lines, and points. Areas and lengths update with every vertex. No order, no wait.
See self-measurement03 · Bulk

Upload a CSV of addresses, assign the scope once, and follow every property's status in one project.

Address, parcel, takeoff type, features, imagery. Before you commit, you see the price and the processing time. Then Geolytes does the takeoff, our team checks it, and you get an interactive, editable result.

Self-measurement
Open the imagery and draw. Polygons for areas, lines for edges and runs, points for counts. Every vertex updates the numbers, and every shape stays editable.

Interactive results
Every completed measurement opens as a live map. Toggle layers, check what was measured, and fix what you disagree with. The quantities follow every edit.

Automated takeoffs are fast, and imagery isn't perfect. When you see something you'd measure differently, move the vertex. Split, merge, add, or delete features, and re-zone them. No re-order, no support ticket.

Satellite covers almost everywhere and is often enough for a quick scope. HD aerial resolves curbs, stall lines, walkway edges, and bed borders where coverage exists. That matters when the edges are the work. Choose per order.

Zones & notes
Split a property into named zones, like the north frontage, the east parking field, or the rear service drive, so quantities follow how crews and contracts actually divide the work. Every exported row keeps its zone.
Service zones5
Exports group every quantity by zone.

Pin notes to the exact spot on the map: where snow can be stored, which edge to check on site, what's out of scope. Notes travel with the measurement into the PDF and the shared link.
Main entrance off the east drive. Plow and salt the throat first.
Dumpster pads along the rear drive. Hand-clear the gates, no piles in front.
Snow storage on the south lawn only. Keep the parking islands clear.
Bulk ordering
100 properties shouldn't mean 100 tabs. Upload your addresses, set the scope once, and process the whole list without repeating the same workflow by hand.
Built for RFPs and multi-site contracts. Every property keeps its own parcel, layers, zones, and status inside one project.

FAQ
Imagery, editing, exports, credits, and what's still coming.
It is a takeoff measured from overhead imagery instead of on site. You find the property, define its boundary, and measure the surfaces in your scope (turf, beds, parking, drive lanes, sidewalks, trees) as areas, lengths, and counts you can price from.
Yes. Self-measurement gives you drawing tools for polygons, lines, points, zones, and notes on aerial imagery, with areas and lengths that update as you draw. Use it when you need a number now or want full control of every line.
Enter an address, confirm or draw the parcel, choose the service and any optional features, and pick satellite or HD aerial imagery. Before you place the order, Geolytes shows the credit cost and an estimated turnaround. Our team checks every automated takeoff before it is delivered. When it is ready, you get an interactive measurement you can review, edit, and export.
It depends on the order. Geolytes calculates the turnaround for each order before you place it and shows it next to the credit cost, so you can decide before committing. It varies with the property and the scope.
Mainly the size of the property, how many feature types you select, and how complex the site is. A small lot with two surfaces is quicker than a large campus with routes, beds, and tree counts.
You choose per order between standard satellite imagery and HD aerial imagery where it is available. Capture date, resolution, and coverage vary by location, and the imagery details are shown with the measurement.
Yes. Completed measurements open in an interactive map, not a locked report. You can move vertices, adjust boundaries, add or delete features, and change zones, and the quantities update with each edit.
Yes. Split a property into named service zones (for example, a priority snow route, front parking, or a loading area) and pin text notes directly on the map for context that geometry alone does not capture.
Yes. Upload a CSV of addresses to create a bulk project, set the scope, and follow each property's status while the whole list stays organized in one place. Bulk CSV ordering is included from the Team pack up.
Completed measurements export as colour-coded Excel spreadsheets, PDF reports, and JPG map images. You can also share an interactive link that opens without a login.
Yes. Share links open the interactive measurement without a login. If a link should stop working, regenerate it and the previous link expires.
Geolytes is credit-based, not a monthly subscription. Professional is $399 for 350 in credits. Team is $1499 for 1350 in credits. Enterprise is $4,999 for 4,850 in credits. Custom packs are priced to your volume. Each order shows its credit cost before you confirm. Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Yes. Self-measurement is included on every pack and works on its own, so you can measure, zone, annotate, and export without placing an automated order.
Accuracy depends on imagery resolution and age, visible surface edges, tree cover and shadows, and how each shape is traced. Geolytes does not claim a universal accuracy percentage. Review each layer, compare it with known dimensions, and verify on site when recent changes or obstructions could affect the bid. Aerial takeoffs are not a boundary survey.
Not yet. Estimation, which will turn measured quantities into job costs using your own production rates, labor, materials, and markup, is in development. Today, export your quantities to Excel and price them in the tools you already use.
Those are mature platforms with broader scopes: SiteRecon bundles takeoffs into subscription plans with wider operations tools, and Attentive now centers on construction takeoffs and estimating. Geolytes focuses on property measurement, with automated and self-measurement in one workspace, imagery choice per order, editable results, and prepaid credits instead of a monthly plan. See the comparison page for details and sources.
Measure it yourself or let Geolytes handle the takeoff.
